bryantjudoman 3 Posted June 28, 2012 Ok so I love this game it is darn cool. I seem to have a problem that my screen is a little fuzzy. I use a I5 and a 6790 vid card. I heard somewhere that you can improve models and such if you get one of the other dlc. packs is this true? I play on med settings and it looks good but not great. Do I just need a new card? thanx for any info.
Rakkasan 23 Posted June 28, 2012 First of all if your screen is blurry...you need to adjust your 3D resolution to the same resolution as your game resolution. That is, if you are running 1900x600 for example, then increase your 3D resolution to the same or as close as you can get it. To adjust that, go to Options>Video>3D Resolution.. michaelgrigg91@gmail.com 0 Posted June 28, 2012 also video memory should be "Default" and for your own good turn off post processing and make HDR normal!!
SystemiK 366 Posted June 28, 2012 Listen to Rakkasan. I did not experiment with the 3d setting for quite awhile and when I finally upped it to match my screen resolution the difference was unfuckingbelievable.Graves, I swear I have read somewhere that all of the "leave video memory setting to default" suggestions are old information from before a previous arma 2 update. I believe it is ok to set memory higher now (can anyone confirm this?).Also, at night, upping the HDR setting will allow more shades of grey which can help you see more objects around you when very dark.
