SVN Repository for patching

Recommended Posts

Well the title really says it all. Setting up the FTP download for the mod as an SVN repository would allow everyone to do 1 click updating with minimal overhead on the part of the development team. It would also minimize the potential for erroneus installation as SVN maintains the repository's file structure.

Bumping this thread. I agree with this so much.

With the speed of updates, it's kind of a pain to update the game. I could even have it update automatically with an SVN client's settings.

Plus you could have just one folder with everything in it to update, instead of having to update code, zip it in a rar, and upload to the mirrors.
