How can i play with my friend together?

Welcome to the forums.

 

It's currently a bit of a pain. Either one of you repeatedly dies until you both end up near each other, or just figure out where you are and meet in the middle. I would highly recommend spending a little time searching for supplies before meeting up, as food and water will be your highest concern.

 

One thing that might help (if you didn't already know): Heading inland from the coast, if you encounter the road before the railway, you're on the East coast. If you encounter the railway before the road, you're on the South/West coast. Hope that helps. Good luck.

DayZ isn't the kind of game that you can hop on with your friend for 10 minutes.

 

As above - if you're both spawning new characters it's best to figure out where you both are, gather some basic supplies and then agree on a place to meet up.

From the first minute on we used Teamspeak. So it was quite easy to arrange a meeting point.

After spawning every one will search for the most important equipment and after some time we meet there.

But it will take some time. Running and looting is nothing that is done in minutes. ;)
