An almost NOT friendly encounter

I was headed north of Berinzino to the NEAF when I thought I may have not been alone. (I was on a server with only 2 other people) so I hid next to a house with a stone wall around it, and after about 2 minutes of looking around I see a guy running along the road heading south. I waited, watching him as he ran past. Then all of the sudden he stops, looks in my direction, pulls out his gun and starts walking over. I was like oh man I'm gunna have to fight this guy (cause the way he was moving told me he saw me) so i ran behind the house to keep out of his LoS. then once he got too close for comfort I said over direct chat "Don't come any closer, and put your gun on your back." He stopped but still had his gun out, and he asked where I was. I was like I'm nearby I just need to to holster your weapon, I'm friendly and wont shoot, but I need to see that you wont shoot me. He did as asked, and come to find out he never saw me, he just wanted to search the house for loot, we exchanged food/ammo and He went on his way. As he left I kept an eye on him with my mosin just to make sure he didnt back track to kill me, but he never did. This was only one of two encounters I've had with other players.

You're lucky you're alive. If he knew you were a newb then he'd probably have taken his chance. It's good you demanded him to sling his gun, it made you sound like a more experienced player I'm sure.

Today i spawned fresh,went do svetlojarsk and encountered an armed player..he give me food and something to drink.Good player!.The second one i saw was in a building ...i said friendly and he says to...we talked and then that idiot tryed to punch me down..for nothing..i had nothing super loot...he:come and fight like a man me:no i run away like your mother..hes ngry voice: ooh i will get youç"%ç*"%ç* me:come at me bro.After 5min running around he lost me.

I found a weapon with ammo and a axe,searched that motherfuc*er and the server restarts :) .
