Some gun shots silent

Hey team, since the most recent patch I've noticed that some gunshots that I should be able to hear, I cannot, they are just silent.

I know this because my friend and I play together and sometimes he hears the shots cleary while I cannot hear it at all (even when we are standing right next to each other in game).

Anyone else getting this problem?

Anyone found a fix for it?

Firstly, welcome to the forums!

To answer your question, sounds are completely broken at the moment, however, Rocket hired a dedicated team of audio personnel to fix them.

 

On higher population servers, you may also hear sound bites of zombies that don't exist as well as eating, drinking, and reloading sounds that come out of seemingly nowhere.

 

Hopefully some of these if not all will be fixed in the next couple of updates, but we can't know for sure.

Ah, yeah cause I wasn't sure if the silent gun shots problem was just me or everyone.
