Issues installing Dayz.

Hi. I've been trying to install DayZ for two weeks now and I can't run the Setup.exe of DayZ commander due to a 'lack of permissions.' I've barely been able to move the file due to the permissions thing, and I had to give myself the admin account for that. 

 

I want to use DayZ commander so that I join the server with my buddies on it, as I lack the patience to play this game alone.

ok well first off here is the steps to play the game from scratch.

 

1.Buy Arma 2 and Arma 2 OA

2.Download dayz commander

3.After you set up dayz commander (its real easy) Open it up

4.Go to the downloads part make sure arma 2 is stable and make sure that you have downloaded dayz and any of the mods you want and make sure the verison is up to date with the server you are joining

Sounds like an OS issues do you have admin for the windows account?

I found out what the problem was. I apparently I had downloaded a Setup.exe from one of those websites that gives you viruses and what not, and AVG wasn't letting me move it. I download the right DayZ installer and after that it was a quick directory update and DayZ was good to go.

Those stupid things that make you think its dayz commander? ya hate that.
