Do military zombies drop all kinds of ammo?

I found it to be so, as well as bandages and sometimes a morphine/pain killers

They drop everything what could a military carry. It just depends how lucky/unlucky you are!

I believe they also have an EXTREMELY rare chance to drop NVG, though I've only heard this, never actually saw it happen yet.

Wait, zombies actually drop items? I've never stopped to loot any of them (though usually it's because I'm being chased by about a dozen others).

Yes, even regular zombies drop items. They don't always have the "pick up X item" in the action menu though: You have to sometimes specifically go into "Gear" to see if they have something. Good way to get drinks/canned food.

yeah, farmers drop food, soldiers drop ammo, docs drop medicals, so on and so on. It helps me get a start after i have to respawn.
