Tyremion 0 Posted May 14, 2012 I wait for server response for ~15minutes, only to spawn into an empty forest without any gear or audio. I have tried >12 servers, and all servers react this same way.I am perplexed; five days ago, I was able to log into a game within 2 minutes. Now I have not been able to play at all.My game is fully updated (currently 1.5.7). I have the OA shortcut setup in regards to the Day-Z mod.Could anyone please shed some light on the reason behind this/any solutions?
Vlaxtocia 0 Posted May 14, 2012 Me and a friend have come across this, I've heard a wild variety of speculation over the cause, I only know of one way around, persistence, just keep joining servers, if it takes 10+ minutes to receive data, we tend to give up and find a new server expecting debug forest, we also monitor the amount of disconnects per minute before we commit to loading the server, if people are constantly disconnecting we take that as a sign that newcomers won't be able to get into the server and we find another one, sorry I wasn't able to be of any real assistance, but I'd also like some sort of technical answer to this.(If you were wondering the theories are:The character server is overloaded due to all of the new comers,The game servers are overloaded due to all of the new comers,The server has been running for too long and needs to restart,These are the only ones which I think might have something to do with it, the rest were wild speculation and incorrectly blaming the devs)

(i only thought this happend with people who had an illegal version of the game.)gonna try some more.. but damn.. those servers are overcrowded.
