Just cos I am a nice bloke I decided to grab my trusty Axe and hang around the fire-station in Elektro killing Zeds and grabbing medical supplies to use on anyone nice enough not to shoot me in the face.

I've given it about 3 hours on one of the ANZ servers and in that time I have run into a half a dozen of you and so far only one has tried to take me out (he missed 3 times and ran away)! The other blokes have all been pretty quiet and just avoided me once they realised I wasn't going to murder them with my axe.

One bloke showed and we got to talking - I walked him through how to equip the axe as a weapon and demonstrated its awesomeness on a wandering walker. Since I was down on blood he was kind enough to give me a shot from a blood-bag and in return I gave him a medi-pen and a compass and wished him well...

So anyway, I'm just a nice bloke with a bag of bandages who wants to hack zombies up with a fire-axe - is that so wrong?

There is nothing wrong with that. We need more men like you, however I think you got lucky with people not pewpewing you as soon as they spotted you.

Yeah I don't know if it would work as well in a different location, the fire-station is a high traffic area with a lot of survivors and zombies moving through there constantly which hopefully will make people think twice before firing without a half-decent reason.

It will be interesting to see how long it all lasts...

6 hours in and still going - took the time to run out to some nearby fields to kill a cow and goat - made myself a little campfire above the town and cooked some steaks - now back to full health and have meat to spare although tonight it seems people are a little more eager to shoot than to talk...

6 hours is quite impressive in a high traffice area, normally I can hope for a total of about 7 seconds before being lit up by random bandits etc, siiiiiigh

However, good on you sir, I hope I run into you, rather than someone else at the fire station

Thursday must be 'shoot on sight' day - no friendlies, I was taking fire from rooftops, hills and streets from the moment I logged in.

Finally got nailed coming down a ladder (took him about 6 shots to hit me though) but luckily I spawned nearby and managed to pick up some new equipment (not a hatchet yet though unfortunately).

I'm gonna try another server, ANZ#2 is way too hot...
