so, spawn system?

I recently asked myself how exactly the spawn system works, since there are incredibly much spawns with empty cans/whiskey bottles:

Do spawn points spawn new stuff if they aren't being looted?

If not, this would lead to a surplus of trash and nothing left of guns n' ammo

am i right?

Spawned items will despawn after a certain amount of time and respawn if there are players in the general area. I don't think they will respawn if you are in the immediate area though. I recommend playing around with it to get a feel for it, go to a town with very low traffic and experiment with the spawns.
