(and others of course!)[/quote']Thank you for the endorsement.Just an FYI if all goes to plan the server will be updated with a beefier CPU a friend has donated to me, 3.0ghz quad-core - and we'll be upgrading to 8gb ram for the lulz.The HDD's will also be getting a bump, i'll be re-installing on the 15k/rpm SAS drives this box should be using, I accidentally and rather retardedly installed the OS onto the sata drive that was used as the boot partition with the previous OS :dodgy:Before i do the upgrade i'll transfer the server to my powerhouse workstation, so there should be minimal downtime. Latency problems were because of that. This server was decommissioned from our data centre because of net issues. I thought that it was just bad management XD turns out that it was a valid reason.
