Changing fire rate and flashlight!

Hey all,

A little new but i've picked up most of the essentials on how to stay alive and gear out every life.

Problem is when i hit L, my flashlight doesn't come on sometimes, what's up with this?

Also, how do I change the fire rate on a gun? And what does zeroing mean?

Flashlight is only supposed to work at night.

Changing fire modes is same button as switching to throwing flares.

Go into first-person look at you feet and press "L" Flashlight should turn on/off..

Change the fire rate "F". top right will show you in green writing. "Semi/full.

So... As OP said, I have the same issue with the flashlight. For instance, I walk into a building with my flashlight on, to loot a pile of tin cans. When I exit the gear menu, my flashlight is turned off. I hit "L" repeatedly, but the light won't turn back on. Standup/crouch thinking it may be like the weapon not appearing, but no dice. Eventually, it does seem to work itself out, and let me turn it back on.
