iam new at the game.

I have some questions.

1. How can i talk/chat to other players? Did not found a key for this. like t to talk.

2. is it normal that i have at start of a game nothing? not a simple gun and so?

3. when i find a dead body. how can i take the loot?

2. Yes, you need to scavange around in areas and towns to find loot, with scrolling the mouse wheel while hovering over items.

1. with beta servers when using beta patches you can talk in direct com's. Its can be found by pressing "i" . Also pressing CAP LOCKS default you will be heard throughout the game on mic for 40m.

2. Yeap, you now spawn without guns and only a bandage and painkillers. Suggested you sneak to barns first to find gun, then after loot large towns when you can defend yourself.

1. Cycle through the channels with "." (period) key until you get to direct communication. Hold the CAPS LOCK key to use direct voice. It has a fairly short range.

2. Yes, this is normal.

3. Press "G" on a body to loot the body. Scroll your mouse to "open backpack" to check the body's backpack.

thanks. I have another question.

How can i equip my flashlight when it is dark? I have one in my Inventory.. but i dont know how to equip it.. :(

Open up your inventory and right click the flashlight. Select "remove from toolbelt" and it will move to your 2ndary weapon slot. Then turn it on/off with L

If you get lucky enough to find "weaponname(flashlight)" you can also use the flash light on that weapon's flash light with L as well.
