What would be the best way to communicate with survivors that are close to me (me hiding inside a house, them outside shooting Z)? I want them not to shoot me when they come in? Is there a private chat or something?

Well, the direct chat works for me... but you need to be close to the toher one, or in the same building, and you can talk in it too.
