Steins 86 Posted June 26, 2012 The incident took place on US130 hosted by http://www.survivorsofwasteland.comOur group was destroyed by server hoppers who kept sniping us from the fields and server hopping to new positions before doing it again, then they server hopped into our base once, killed one of our guys, then server hopped to another position around the side of the church and then they killed again before hopping one more time.THE ADMIN WAS PRESENT THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE ORDEAL. {SoW} Skull and {SoW} MrChaca.They kept aborting and disconnecting when they were shot in the fields to heal up in another server.Video (our friend who recorded this joined after about 2 hours of harrassment and caught the tail end of the incident when we had pretty much had enough): Names of hoppers for the Darwin List (bug abuse/cheating)Hcore MrloDankilHcore Sharkvader (recorded in video)FML (Shot this guy behind a bush south-east of town, he aborted)(There were more players but they didn't server hop to our knowledge.)You shouldn't be able to abort from a server and suddenly, all zombies are gone. You shouldn't also be able to abort from a server, join another one, heal/move, then rejoin the other server (I suggest there be a 20 minute server wait that activates when you leave a server, join another and then return to the other server, to discourage hoppers.)This bug should be a primary focus for fixing, playing the game is becoming impossible as more and more people are "thinking" that it's a part of the game, when it's not. This game is unforgiving, take your hits and suck it up and stop trying to get over on people you are obviously not clever cause Steins crew totally busted you. They could find a kit to remove your wire and do it legit.I have been playing FPS Pro/Am for years. I am just saying there is a lot of carebearing going around.If you want to save and horde your gear and feel safe and do what ever to keep him alive aka disconnecting then go play Skyrim or Fallout.What does the arma community have to do with it?
