MasLegio (DayZ) 0 Posted May 13, 2012 everything is laggy in the new SE4 server.inventory, zombies dying, people moving etc.also viewing distance is really low for some reason.maybe the server is not up to the task?I live in sweden by the way so this lag should not appear at all Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Litteraly just a few minutes before you ask the Q.Viewdistance is affected by stuff such as the local ingame weather.I'll be working on decreasing the lag and fix the settings :)/Br Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
MasLegio (DayZ) 0 Posted May 15, 2012 another bad experience, now on SE2one unannounced server reset and on reconnect I had lost a majority of my inventory and it was now suddenly in the middle of the night20 minutes later as I had crawled around a zombie infested town trying to get stuff there was another unannounced server reset.not a good experience Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
lordsilence 1 Posted May 15, 2012 Hi!I'm sorry about the server restarts, they happen on regular 6h intervals.This is a known issue and is a requirment for the server to remain stable - thus it's not related to just the SE servers.This is done on all the DayZ servers at the moment.The game is still in early alpha and devs are working on improving the stability.Br,l Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
