Expanding on .22lr firearms

Since DayZ is going for a more civilian firearms approach, a few more rifles chambered in .22lr should be added as they are fairly common in households. The first that I would suggest is the CZ 455, as it is Czech made, which means it would likely be found in Chernarus. It is magazine fed, bolt action and would fit the long range scope.

Other rifles that would be found commonly in households would be a range of single shot rifles,either break action or bolt action, and some will not be limited to .22lr, and would be similar in shape to the CZ 455.

 

 

the last rifle I would like added is one that I don't expect to see in the game but is a personal preference, and is the Chiappa Little Badger, mainly because it would be a unique firearm that would stand out from the list above.                                                                                                                                                  

It is a single shot, break action rifle with an all metal body instead of a wooden frame, can allow many attachments such as m4 type scopes, bipods and possibly in the future, pistol grips, can store 10 extra rounds on the stock for fast reloads, threaded for a suppressor and can be easily folded away into a backpack.

everything else that should be added is already similar to pre-existing weapons, so i personally dont see the point

What about a 22 revolver or a lever action.

 

 

However i think the CZ 452 should be used, not the newer 455 for reasons of history.

The FNX-45 and 1911 are both semi-automatic .45 handguns, and the P1 and CR-75 are both 9x19mm handguns, very similar gameplay wise and they already have all of those. Also, we only have one confirmed SMG, and only one revolver in-game.

 

What about a lever-action rifle, semi-automatic shotgun, light-machinegun, derringer, over/under shotgun, etc? - They've had no news on any of those types of weapons beyond discussion.
