Most probably! My friend spawned there way before i did and when i turned up i was like BOOM! haha

Just turned up to my friend and he had it all! CRAZY GUN FIGHT! haha! also people have said he glitched it.. but it was after the patch update so! :P

You won't believe me, but I found even more loot on the same airfield last week. I will upload a video soon. One of the best things? 2 round boxes filled with 60 m4 ammo stacks.

I've seen something similar where there was something like 9 guns laying on the ground.  1 M4 and the rest SKS's... probably duped.

 

EDIT:  This was a few months back when SKS's were first put into the game.

I just turned up mate after my friends had a gun fight... they won, went inside and all of it was there! It was MENTAL! haha
