Q: how can i join a friend

I use six updater as my budy does but it seems there is no server favorite list or something in the arma2 server browser and i dont run it on steam so i cant just quickly join the same server. any advices on that how we can do this or do we just have to look through the server browser till we find the same server?

join a server, tell your buddy the name of the server - ex. US 46, done.

I don't think ARMA2 has a direct "Friend" kinda system. As far as I can tell, you just have to find the same server by name.

You can favorite servers by pressing the star next to server name! :)

Use filter and make sure Show empty and Show full is enabled. Type in UK9 for example and join the server. Have your friend do the same.

you can use xfire, but you'll have to define launch parameters in the xfire options.

Using filters is a good way to find the same server if you're more than one player or if you want to become a regular on a specific server.
