Bleeding player blood trail

Recommended Posts

My issue with H1Z1 is that it's such a copy of dayz, really there's no originality. Though I will play it because its free I'm just hopping Dayz doesn't fall behind because of rip off games like H1Z1. Dayz is the gritty game that I love but I do have high expectations for the game. I've seen individual moders turn dayz mod into an entirely different game in just a few weeks. Now referring to the standalone they release updates monthly and are often late! I'm just not seeing what's taking so long to fix sound issues and minor game changing bugs. They sold 2 million units, guys hire more people from the modding community and start pumping out updates biweekly. I understand good content takes time.

The way I see it they do look quite similar as of now, but then again they're both just skeletons of what they (hopefully) will be once finished. So basically I'm hoping that Bohemia takes their game one route and SOE another. If they manage to profile their games enough they will turn out pretty different, and diversity is good in my opinion. Some days I might want one and another day the other. Fingers crossed..

I like the idea of a blood trial as long as it is not over done. It would need to be subtle and for you to have a keen eye.

Also on the whole tracking idea it would be cool, if there was some sort of tracking mechanic where you could tell (if you had a keen eye) where someone had RAN (not walked) recently.
