DayZ keeps crashing

Ok i bought DayZ yesterday and i went to play it today (For the first time) and it loaded up good all fine then it came up with the main menu like where it says Play etc. I clicked play and the game just stops i have tried clicking server and character but still crashes. I hear the birds and background noise like u hear on the main menu but it still doesn't work i have to ctrl+alt+del and open task manager to close it and it doesnt even close right away it takes awhile. I have tried multiple times to try play i have ran steam as an admin and tried launching but it keeps happening and i dont know what to do. Please Help

This sounds like a video driver issue ( Nvidia ) - some video drivers dont work well with DayZ Standalone - you may want to check out older drivers if you have the latest one as the latest Nvidia drivers cause black screens and no video on some people's PCs. Not all PCs are the same so this is only a suggestion. I run 314.22 Nvidia drivers for my GTX 560 they work for me.
