I managed to survive 2 encounters and two trips to NWAF.  In one on regular I came across a fellow crawling and being attacked by a zed, I killed the zed, he needed some sticks for his broken legs, which I happened to have.  I let him know that axes were fixed.  I saw him a little later and he was sneaking around with his axe in the ready, I bailed and didn't shoot him. Next was an encounter at NWAF on a hardcore server, I was checking the tents when someone came up on me, we both had pistols at the ready, I kept moving around so he could not get a bead on me, I put my pistol up and asked him to do the same.  He didn't fire, but he didn't put up his pistol ether so I bailed.  Both toons are now hunkered down for maint.
