That's my problem with the system.

 

The m4 should be as it stands the 2nd most accurate weapon in the game regardless of what parts it has or not.

 

Even an m4 without a handguard should have the same accuracy as one with one.

 

When it comes to accuracy the order should be according to real life values.

I'm just hoping that once they get a good amount of guns they'll do a complete revamp of the aiming/recoil/dispersion/accuracy system and put in a system that rewards aim and trigger discipline instead of dice throwing.

My hope as well.

 

Alot of the weapon mechanics seem like place holders.

 

Mosin using lrs, sks using pu optics.

 

Seems like the mosin as been given the lrs until more suitable bolt guns are added atleast thats what I am guessing .

 

Then once more guns are added the accessories are going to be redone.

Not only that, but the scopes don't zoom to their correct values, and the fov slider is just there to be abused to as a way to compensate for the lack of a true optic zoom function. Couple it with the aforementioned "features" and the whole shooting experience is not very realistic or enjoyable as much as it could be. Breath control is also practically non-existent.

I tried this once in the hopes of my M4 being a capable marksman rifle, but I couldn't even hit a zombie from 300m. My M4 has a pristine rail handle, stock buttstock, bipod and ACOG. Ridiculous.

Thats the thing though, it has to be MP parts on both buttstock and handguard.

MP parts magically improve accuracy on the M4 by several orders of magnitude. Its like a different weapon. Any other parts makes it a poor weapon in anything but close-medium combat.
