Logging out question..

So, I know there is a delay when logging out and your char. will stay in game for 30 secs , vulnerable to zombies and other players.  So my question is, if you log out next to another player, can that player take any of your gear during that 30 sec.?  I am not talking about killing you / taking it, just taking it?  I logged out with another player standing next to me and the next time I came on, some of my gear was gone...only the "good stuff", including my shoes, backpack, protector cases, ammo box, hand guns.  My food / sodas were still with my char.  though.  Or is this just a glitch?  Don't really care about the gear, just want to know so I  don't team with this player again.   Thanks.

If he handcuffs you while your char is still there, he can loot you.

would the handcuffs still be on when I logged in again?   I don't mind being robbed / held up, but how cowardly and a bit creepy to take my stuff when I am not even in game...lol.  thanks!

Nope, it's not him.

I had that bug too, you just lose some things, today i have not found scope and bottle, and yesterday - bible and compass.

What if someone beats you unconscious in the 30 sec period and takes your gear? Would you be alive when logging back in?

I dont know about unconscious but if bleeding then you are dead on next spawn. Tested and verified!

Ok, good to know....he said he didn't, but I don't know him, except from the game, so just checking if it was even possible.  Thanks!
