How do i get a good start

hey Dayz forum, a little Introduction of myself to start of with.
 
My ingame name is "Rephexz", I'm a friendly player, but im not afraid to defend my self. I used to play the mod, where i made it quite far, i normally surivive very long in mod, i usually die because im helpful to others. But i thing that is what the game is about. Survive or die. I like big booty bitches and computers xD.
 
Well I bought the standalone, and i had a really bad start, I can't find any loot or anything, in the mod i used to just run to cherno or elektro to get basic supplies and weapons, and then head north. But now in the standalone i have almost no clue on how to get guns weapons, and so on. I normally just find clothes and other useless junk like, books and gas. 
 
I would really like to get a loot run/guide. or just some basic tips and tricks
If you guys could answer my questions that would be awesome.

.Where do people PVP now? 

 

.How can a find out my blood type & use  blood bag? 

 

.Is there anyway to find out if a player is a bandit or a hero?(Like a bandit/hero skin in the mod)

.Can you eat runied food that is not rotten?

Berezino, Elektro, Cherno, Balota, Svet, NEAF, NWAF, (Almost every large place/good loot town.)

You need a blood test kit, you use it and it tells you your blood type. You need someone to take your blood and you need someone to give it to you when you need it.

No, but most bandits wear masks.

I've seen it many times, and the funny thing is when they get the gun they light them up and ruin most the gear lol.
