Black Screen & Freeze on Startup

For a week now I've had this problem. Whenever I try to start up DayZ standalone, it loads everything. Then it shows the DayZ logo and freezes. Just a black screen.

 

Can't hear game sound or anything.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Do you go not responding? What do you mean it freezes, like it sits there forever?

Have you had this issue since you bought game? 

Your PC specs? 

Have you messed with the files any?

Have you tried running as Admin?

It just sits there forever. And the problem started just last week, I've had the game since release.

 

I have a 2nd gen i5 and factory overclocked GTX 760.

 

I haven't messed with the files.

I guess I can do that overnight.

It does do the loading ring when I start up the game though.
