How about making a reference to Stephen King's novel, Cell, by having some zombies drop broken cellphones when killed?

I'm pretty sure most people would just associate the broken cell-phones with junk loot rather than an actual easter egg.

 

Besides, why are we suggesting easter eggs? I thought the whole point was for the community to not know what they are until they're found.

Please suggest that in a thread. It's brilliant but sometimes the voices would be grainy so it could warn you if it's just a radio on a zombie.
