DayZ Civilian

Recommended Posts

I was looking at DayZ civilian, and it looks cool. From what I read it has skyscrapers, tons of zombies, more weapons, car radios, and a lot more. So I started downloading it on DayZ Commander, but then I noticed there is ONE server!

Why is there only one server? Did everyone pack up to Epoch because it is the best mod out there? Almost all the mods have about 1-4 servers each. Some have none.

DayZ Civilian is a very old mod and died a while ago, same for a lot of the mods, they look very cool but before you try them you realize they died :(

dayz civilian had great potential, just the mod wasn't greatly made, buildings tend to be out of place, or poorly placed in the map editor, your frames will take a much bigger hit, and if anyone changes clothing, the server crashes.  also loads of random stuff put in that just didnt fit with dayz. i managed to kill psisyndicate with a formula 1 car....yeah, that happened lol

though the weapon attachment system was good, but i think other mods use it aswell.

as for epoch it used to my favorite, then they added in the modular base building and every vehicle and gun from arma, so now starting out on a server is impossible as you will probably get sniped from stone skyscraper while travelling,
