Guns dealing more damage

There is something wrong with the guns, or the clothing I was wearing. I just DON'T GET IT why I didn't die! I had an assault vest, hoodie and summer pants (and ballistic helmet and some other stuff)

Correct me if i'm wrong but i believe that the Assault vest is slightly bullet proof. That an damage is weird at the moment regarding items in pockets and such.

The assault vest is only as bullet proof as a T shirt I think.

But they hit me in my arm(s) = fracture

 

I could still shoot, that's probably just a feature that hasn't been worked out, but I got hit numerous of times, I guess.... With high-caliber weaponry.

The item protection system is kinda bad in my opinion at the moment. Only kevlar vest should protect you from high calibre bullets.

 

The protection system feels to me like the weapon attachement system where different handguards make your weapon magically more accurate. But thats just how i see it.

I heard they are gonna revamp the damage system because right now is quite bad.

The vest is just like wrapping a pillow around your torso when it comes to defense.
