G430 Headset mutes when pressing P2T button

My button is the default caps, and when I press it the gun cuts out all audio, and there is no way to turn back on with exiting and rejoining the game. I have tested with other games and it works perfectly, dayz is the exception.

I've never seen that problem before with mine. Are you using the included USB Sound Card (i was going to say "thingy") with it?

I'm not sure what that is.

In the box there should have been a thing that has a USB male plug attached and two holes to plug in your headphone jacks. It should also have a switch for turning your mic on and off. IF you don't use it then try it, if you do then i'm stumped.

Ah, I know whate that is. And I use it. I'll be getting a new laptop in a month. I'll see if that fixes it.
