T3N RDS Optics Help!

pulled an M4 off a dead guys body and it had a scope attached I believe it is the T3N RDS Optics although in the game I am pretty sure it had a different name in the game and the name had "IRNV" in it but the name above I got off the Dayz wiki cause the scope image in the wiki looked just like the one I have and no other scope in the wiki looked like this one..

 

When I zoom in with it the view looks like its looking under the gun. Is this a glitch/bug or am I missing something? Link to image of what I am seeing is below. In game the scopes details show that it is in pristine condition so I don't believe that it is related to damage. I also attached a battery to it and turned it on it but it made no difference.

I just had this happen as well. Looted a bandit who had the optics already installed and I kept looking under the gun. Tried relogging and that cleared it up.
