ThatDayZNoob 0 Posted June 25, 2012 Whenever I spawn into the game all I see is blank terrain, grey skies, a low sun, and thats it. Theres no forests, ocean, or buildings or any towns that are visible to me. I've tried updating the game, reinstalling it, and I've switched to about ten different servers and I don't really know whats going on. Does anyone know what to do? NedEleven 1 Posted June 25, 2012 If you could post a screenshot that would be helpful, but I'm guessing you're stuck in the Debug Forest/Wilderness, which is basically DayZ's version of Purgatory.Apparently it will be fixed in the next patch.

DatenThielt 11 Posted June 25, 2012 This happened to me, I fixed it by logging into the server Texas 6, or TX6. This for some reason spawns you in the debug forest. Then all you need to do is run EAST to the nearest town, and your free :)
-=Morpheus=- 0 Posted July 3, 2012 Have you considered that it is NIGHT TIME in the server? The way Day Z servers work is they are real time to where the server is actually located. If it is night time (in real life) and you log into a local server it is going to be night time in the game. If you only play the game at night and you want it to be day time you need to log into a server where it is actually day time in real life. Don't worry, Day Z uses PERSISTENT SERVERS. So, no matter what server you log into you are where you were in the last server you were in with all the same stuff you had before. As long as you didn't die. janivorickard@gmail.com 0 Posted July 3, 2012 Unless you have gear you really don't want to lose i suggest just respawning to try and get out of the debug forest/plain, i've also read something about joining one of the CA servers to solve this issue, you might want to search around the forum for it. MrFox (DayZ) 0 Posted July 4, 2012 I used DatenThielt advice and used the texas server. tx9 instead of tx6 he mentioned. but it did the trick. spawned in forest instead of wasteland.. then followed clouds, that I was told always move east. was back in a town in 5 min. with all my gear.
