Unknown problem

I have yet to play this Mod, but I am very excited to. Whenever I join a server, however, it takes a long time to load. When I fully receive the data, I get kicked back to the server browser without even a message. For some reason the "Creating a character, please wait" remains there. I can go back to the main menu and join other servers. Please help!

Good to know i'm not the only one. I was worried that it may have been an installation error on my part, but I guess not.

Not sure what to say though. Without an error message, I have no idea what could be causing it!

Managed to get it to work the other day, dont know if this is a cure-all solution for this specific problem but I went ahead with Notmog's suggestion. I reinstalled battEye, and removed the -nosplash from the launch command line and just kept it to -mod=@dayz (instead of -nosplash-mod=@dayz). But im gonna have to go with the fact that the 1.5 update more then likely fixed this and all this is placebo.
