base building ideas (stone wall,brick wall,wooden wall)

so i got idea of base building. So you could collect bricks,stones and wooden planks and then you could make walls of stones, bricks and cement those walls would be strong. But wooden planks you could need to use nails to make walls of them.

You maybe have played DayZ Epoch sometimes?

 

I think building with stone should if at all, very hard and i mean very very hard. But i think wood and metal would be the more realistic building elements.
