My DAYZ feedback

I have spent numerous hours playing this alpha and wanted to say this game upon release is going to be awesome. It already is great but the bugs it has are rough but that's alpha for ya. I just had a suggestion or two that I wanted to run by the community:

1. Fishing, it would be great to be able to find rods/build rods from parts and fish in some lakes/oceans for food.

2. Violent animals, bear attacks would be sick.

3. The tents are still bugged and I lost 10 blood bags, 2 rifles, and like 15 cooked meats last night :(

4. I personally do not like starting with no gun, it hasn't hindered me much but I've had to restart twice yesterday because someone with a gun happened to be near my spawn both times and just dropped me. Starting with the pistol I was able to defend myself at least.

5. I walked over a boulder and got caught in it for over 10 minutes while my character's legs went crazy, I couldnt move at all and finally he slid off the boulder. That's gotta get fixed somehow

Overall though, GREAT experience but losing the stuff in tents is gut wrenching.

your still gonna die even with a pistol if the guy has you outgunned.

zig zagging must be mastered if you want to become a axe murderer.

slipping and weaving through bullets while countering with an axe are skill and art.

Do you have any thoughts on my other suggestions?

I guess I don't mind the no pistol start though...

Regarding violent animals, I've often thought it would be awesome, not to mention terrifying, if there were packs of domestic dogs gone feral roaming the cities and outlying countryside.

It would definitely happen during and after an apocalypse.
