Server list wont load

i bought DayZ Standalone today and have been unable to play because the server list will not load nor can i join any of my friends games any suggestions

Adjust your filter settings to 0 to populate the list.  If your friends are on steam go over there name in steam friends list and use the drop down, select join game that will put you into the same server as them.
