A little tactical observation here... You're REALLY exposed standing there looting the guy like that. Make sure to take the time to check around to see if any of his buddies are coming, then I advise going prone during the looting process to reduce your profile. You'll be harder to snipe, and a passerby might mistake you for a corpse, giving you crucial seconds to take initiative. Double click the items to loot them fast, instead of dragging them over.

I'd like to think he survived, and carried on a little wiser.  I probably should have spoken though, dropping my axe from ready and backing off wasn't enough.

 

First time I've noticed the player footprints  though...
