Why is it that....

Recommended Posts

Why is it that I log out of a server that has like 10 group members in it with all the same clan handle.

I immediately log in and thinking to myself. "Nope, today is not the day to die"

Even if I recognize the clan from the forum. (it was cqb or something) I'm not taking a chance with anyone. I wouldn't say I'm not a hero player per say but I don't go around guns a-blazing yelling yeehaaww. Kill you and take your stuff. I like helping people in need. However I will take proper precautions to protect myself. I do enjoy the occasional surprise meet up where both parties are stunned with what to do, so I fire in the air to attract zombies then run away.

Enough banter... Does anyone else do the same thing? Log in see who's in the server and log out when a huge clan is in for fear of being killed while you are fumbling for you MIC and exclaiming "friendly friendly friendly!!!"???

Most clans on severs are usually having pointless electro fights.

I prefer to be on 40/40 servers with no clans.

Never run away based on who is in server. I'm cognizant of it, but don't leave based on what I'm up against. Seems kinda weak sauce to me - but to each his/her own...

Well I do play cautious.

I mean would you really venture into a city knowing there is a group of people that could potential kill you? Even being a genuinely good player and its a good group. nothing is 100%.

Is someone jelly at a little bit? its ok, normally people are really jelly of my skills and i can see why, if you would like me to teach you how to play i.e. fire your pistol and how to loot i do charge a small fee of £9.99 a month, after that i charge a little more as i will take you into battle {normally 10 of us against one bandit} and show you how to reload your fire arm in combat. If you interested you should get in contact, this is all legit by the way.

Opposite for me. I look for clans to try and takeout.

Finding a clan stalking them and planning your attack is some of the most fun I have playing lone wolf.

Being out numbered is fun IMO.

How exactly do you 'find a clan'? We've got 100+ sq km to look through, unless you go on TS and ask where they are or just bet on Elektro I've never understood that epeen stroking 'I'm gonna hunt them down' talk.

Enough banter...

If I log on to a server that's packed with members of the same group, I log out. They're probably using the server as a loot farm and I wouldn't be surprised if they're using hacks.

As for "hunting them down", this is just forum braggadocio. It's not going to happen in the game unless you play it like Operation Flashpoint in which case you'd never find the enemy in a reasonable time (Op Flash and ArmA started you off in the general mission area and gave you a target, but even then it tooks ages to stealthily sweep the area; against four human players in a vastly greater region you would die of old age before tracking them down).

This tends to happen for tmw as we look for a good server and just join on each other, but we're usually all over the place.

I will say though I run no tags; stay low key for those that do go clan hunting.

You realize CQF (I'm sure that's who you are talking about, if not don't worry about the rest of this blabber) is like one of the biggest, and most friendly groups out there? They're friendlies who help out new spawns and generally anybody too. But, they aren't push-overs either.

So I've read. I honestly just get intimidated by a large groups of people in fear of be wasted for no logical reason what so ever. haha

That's what I figure as well. I just don't like dealing with that awkwardness and meeting them and being pwned by 6 dude with m4's

No i certainly do not log out of any server i join based on names. The bigger the clan the harder the challenge to survive, the more fun the game is. Your basically admitting to running away from a challenge. Also you forget some clans are friendly so you might not have anything to fear anyway.

No, if I saw a large clan i'd do my research online

If they are friendly then I'll look for them and let them know I am too

Or if there's 15 people and 10-12 are in a clan that I look up and they are bandits, well any group of more than 3 is a

Prime target for me

Though I've been on the opposite end of this, once had about 20 Of my guys online at once

Joined a 20 man server and it emptied on less than a minute or two

And it wasn't an isolated incident
