New member with some fresh ideas

Some ideas a friend and I were tossing around:

 

1. Sewing Kits should repair gloves and backpacks

2. Sharpening Stones for melee weapons

3. Ammo crafting:

 

*Reloading spent ammo

*Custom ammo types (armor piercing, Dum-Dum, etc)

 

4. Clothing enhancements (kevlar stitching to reinforce assault vests, body armor,etc)

5. Clothing crafting / sewing / tailoring

1-That's the point of sewing kits in the first place,they repair clothing.

2-That's not a good choice of a wepon to have ingame : /

3-Yes,arrows for bows,nothing else.

4-Upgradable clothing have been suggested in the past,it's a good idea.

5-Sewing kit can do that,not yet implemented.

I'm sure we'll find a way to make craftable melee weapons.

But it seems like there's a huge division of the people who want to keep DayZ's gameplay somewhat modern and ones who want it to be essentially like the Stone Age (Bows & Crafted weapons only, very few guns.) 

They're good ideas, but it would feel pretty weird using a flint-head axe or club in barbaric furs to charge down a guy with an M4A1. (Shout out to Civ 5)
