Multiplay server not showing in public list

Hi,

 

I picked up a Multiplay server for a month on Monday. It's been up and running for a few days with the title: Multiplay :: DayZ UK (Regular) - MoosePLAY

 

IP: 85.236.100.220:2302

 

I can join the server remotely with the IP. And others can. However, it does not show in the main server browser list. I've looked everywhere and tried turning off and on all the filters. Others have looked. It's not there.

 

Am I waiting to be whitelisted? I called up Multiplay support and they tried a few things including putting it onto a different machine etc. but they said they've had this with a few servers and that I should contact the DayZ team.

 

Please help, I would really like people to be able to play on it! As it stands, it amounts to a private server - as no one but me and people with the address can find it - which shouldn't be allowed!

They want you to get in contact with the DayZ staff, shouldnt they be the ones helping you out, there the ones who took your money not the dayz time XD yeah i have a close friend who used multiplay and he didnt get along with there whole clanforge thingy {sorry im not a server renting boff} but to be honest i think they should be helping more

That's kinda what I asked the guy. But he said there was nothing they could do, as it's the DayZ central hive etc. and whatever central command they have that decides what servers are allowed on the list, apparently. So, just throwing it out here.

Ummmm yeah thats a pretty good answer from them but still, if they are allowed the rent servers to people who are paying alot money i think they should be prepared for stuff like this, like have a check list with problems that they have to learn to fix etc..well hopefully you will get a answer on this and get it fixed, i asked a buddy about it but he is at work at the moment il report back if he says anything about it :)

Hello! I'm the community manager at Multiplay.

 

I figure I'd drop some information here. It is not a problem at Multiplay's side, it is a problem at Bohemia's side. Our team tested for all problems that MIGHT have been our end - it isn't any of them.

 

Huntsman - The team can't learn to fix a problem if Multiplay didn't cause it :)

Click Contact Form.

 

 

A good rule of thumb - forums are discussion, support pages are for support. The sooner you contact them directly the sooner the bandits can invade your server :)
