At the Main Menu of ARMA 2 OA, there is a Player Profile section. You can change your name there.

I'm still pretty new to it myself but pretty sure you need to create a NEW profile and select that one, you can't edit the default profile name as far as I know

@Guidez: sorry but that doesn't help me :(. Like that guy (http://dayzmod.com/f...change-my-name/) i'm stuck... If I open the profile window there are no profiles displayed. If i create one it is not displayed afterwards. The creation window sets the name as PLAYER 1 and that zone is NOT EDITABLE. I tried clicking, double-clicking, doing backspace etc I cannot edit the name. Everything but the name... And as the profile doesn't appear in the list once created I cannot even edit it either.

I also tried to have a look at the game folder. It appears that after removing all your profile files the game will automatically create one with your windows name. But if I then try to create another one it will get rid of it (not delete it but not use it anymore) and create a PLAYER 1 profile that I cannot change...

Also I tried ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead and none worked.

EDIT: well ok it turned out to be a security problem linked to my Windows documents folder which is only accessible through VPN because it's on a server. ArmA 2 stores player info in there in an ArmA 2 folder and of course it was not accessible while I was not on the VPN. Once again the developers of the game could have taken this potential case into account and allow creation in the game folder (like they actually do with that PLAYER 1 profile or the windows name profile automatically created but not editable in-game). But they forgot about that...
