Ammo types and firing mode

Recommended Posts

Hello, 2 quick questions because i didn't find entrys in the key bindings for it and can't remember how i did it in ArmA:

-how to change the type of ammo i use? (e.g. pellets and slugs)

-how to change the fire mode of a weapon (single, semi, full - if supported of course^^)

Thank you in advance!

"F" will cycle through all of those options. Watch the text up at the top-right of the screen to see what you're currently set to.

If you have both pellets and slugs in your main inventory, scrolling the mouse wheel will give you the option to reload to the other ammo type you aren't currently using. You'll see the choice on the left middle of the screen.

F is switch fire mode as mentioned, but you are most likely using a rifle or shotgun which only has one fire mode. This will also switch between grenades, smoke grenades, flares etc.

Like Reloaded says, changing ammunition type for a weapon is simply to use the scroll wheel action menu (scroll to cycle, scroll wheel click or left click to select) as with every other action in ARMA 2. The only other type of interaction is in your inventory and is performed by right-clicking on an item.
