Did I have a heart attack?

Recommended Posts

Just dropped dead. No shots fired, wasn't bleeding.. I was below 3000 blood but I heard that only leads to fainting, not death.

Maybe a hacker killed you? Happened to me the other day. A friend an I were in the middle of a forest miles from anything, and I suddenly started bleeding - so I bandage. Down to 11k bloody I run some more with my RL friend behind me... and I fall down dead, The debug monitor shows I still have over 11k blood. My friend has (or had since he recently died, the nub!) silenced guns galore, nightvision, the lot... so I just told him to forget about looting my body for fear of the hacker (or whatever weird thing killed me) killing him and log out.

I've died quite a few strange deaths that clearly weren't players shooting me.

Could also just be a bug... alpha builds may have mechanics that go haywire.

Otherwise, "I've fallen and I can't get up!" applies

its happened to me 2 times. Both times i was standing still so i assume there was a sniper just waiting. Once was in a field in the north, and once was in Cherno. Never heard the shot, but I assume it was a sniper.

If you were under 3k blood, a silenced assault rifle could probably kill you in one shot.

If the sniper is any good you won't even hear the shot unless he misses one near you.

At 3k blood even hitting you in the arm is gonna kill you.

Your heart should be healthy from eating all those beans. I guess too much of a good thing can kill you. Did you fart so explosively your heart collapsed?

Sometimes this game is weird. I was walking through the woods with at friend who has at full health. Then... he dropped dead. No gunshots, no one around. It was weird.

Awkwardly contacting trees or rocks or other random tidbits can sometimes trigger damage. I've knocked myself out and killed myself by prone rolling into a tree or running into one while sprinting.

Were you wearing a camo ? Cause two days ago on FR10 a guy killed people on the debug plains, causing a friend and myself to instantly drop dead in the middle of nowhere. ( A dozen of other people died in the following 15-20 seconds )

4.2k blood is the threshold to begin fainting, eventually you will die (@3k blood, soon you will die)

also, unsilenced rounds travel well above the speed of sound: at 500m the target will bed dead before the report arrives
