vladdie 0 Posted June 25, 2012 I am talking about bushes, grass, trees and such. I notice that most of that doesn't render at long ranges so if I am "hidden" behind a bush watching a survivor in the distance, how can I be sure that if he turns around and looks in my direction that I am not a really obvious blob in an "open" field instead of being well hidden in foliage.Anyone have any tips for maintaining good visual cover from other players at long ranges whilst still keeping eyes on them? Datashocker 0 Posted June 25, 2012 Usually bushes and trees are rendered at long ranges. The only foliage that vanishes over a long distance is the grass itself. Kind of disappointing, because with a Ghille suit you can be really well hidden just by lying down in a field.
xximrtwoixx 104 Posted June 25, 2012 From another players perspective your toon will seem to fall into the ground when you go prone at long ranges where the grass texture disappears. You are still visable though regardless of what skin you have on.
