New Player Feedback: A terrible mechanic.

My character fell and broke his leg. 

 

I cannot respawn.

I can not drown myself. It says "You are Dead"  but I am not. When I try to rejoin server i come back still crawling around with a broken leg.

It really makes no sense why this wouldnt be a no brainer fix. Why cant I respawn or reset my character? Am I to crawl for 10 hrs to find a fix?

edit: I saw this from the recent board.

 

You're playing the mod apparently, so find a different Hive to play on. Or click "respawn" it's always worked for me in the Mod.

i Just painfully climbed to the top of some stairs and managed to fall off and now it jsut says you are dead, still cant click respawn button.. just a black screen

Last I heard, there's some problems with drowning with broken legs, try finding a zombie to kill you, or even just get a stick + some rags/bandages and heal your leg.
