StormZ - An introduction!

Welcome to StormZ. We are a brand new DayZ Epoch server running the newest version of Epoch (1.0.4.2[a]). We have several custom scripts installed and are working on more. At the moment our player-base is relatively small but we aim to change this rapidly and become one of the most reliable and most visited servers. We hope that you can help us achieve this!

Staff

All admins will have the clan tag [GGWP]. Admins will not kill you and will have god-mode enabled so please do not fire upon them. You can request for admins to teleport to you and help you, but we will not give out free stuff just because "you need it!" Do not worry about admins knowing the location of your base, they will not disclose any information and will not raid you! All our admins our experienced and their decision is final. If you disagree with an admin, shouting at them will not help. Just speak to another admin privately when you can and express your concern. All the admins are active and very friendly so don't be afraid to ask for help!

 

Rules

We do not have a large amount of rules for the server as we think it is best not to restrict you too much, but here are the ones we do have: 

 

1. Under no circumstances are you to use voice on Side/Global chat. If you are constantly accidentally pressing the default voice key, re-bind it to something you do not use. Use Direct Channel or get into our public Mumble server(there are only 10 slots at the moment). 109.70.149.166:64738 

 

2. As of this time there are no rules against griefing (obviously rule-breaking is not permitted). This includes the destruction of bases. Please do not report legal griefing to staff. Banter and arguments over side chat are permitted, however please keep them civilized. However bases SHOULD be indestructable on the server so do not to attempt doing so or expolit if they are currently destructable.

3. Do not mock or imitate a server admin. Administrators are volunteers who give up their own time to watch over the servers. Please be respectful. 

 

4. Using or spamming with loud\long custom sound commands will result in punishment up to permaban. 

 

5. No Combat Logging. This is defined as exiting the game world whilst actively engaged with another player/enemy. After a combat timer has finished please wait at least 1 minute to log out after a firefight. 

 

6. No Whining/Moaning/Demands. No complaining in side chat about being killed, no asking for items and no demanding the admins to come to your base. 

 

7. No Hacking, duping Items or exploiting bugs. Do not hack on our server if you do so this will result in you getting banned. 

 

8. No Advertising or Spamming Chat. Do not advertise other servers on ours, also dont spam the chat. 

 

9. Respect Owners, Admins and Mods. Treat the admins with respect and receive respect back. 

 

10. Only speak English on the server please. This is because we will not be able to understand you if you speak in any other language.
