Please forgive my noobness as I never played Arma until dayz

So I have found the m4 cco and also the mk 48.

My question is how do you aim these. They both have the red dot above the iron sites and I don’t know which to use when aiming or if there is a way to toggle between the two.

Goto editor

Chosse a map

when it up in the editor

double click somewhere on the map

Select on the left

Side = BLUFOR

faction = USMC

on the right select

unit = Rifleman

press ok

now press preview

shoot at shit to get used to the aiming

There are some pretty good tutorials Built into the single player Arma 2. I ran through a bunch of them before I started playing day z and they did a pretty good job of explaining how to use the sights and the alternate sights on weapons.. if I recall there is a section on it in the night time tutorial.
