"Booby trapped body" hack?

So I'm in the NW airfield, and getting shite from the south barracks, and I get slammed for a while through a wall by an over-exuberent zombie.

I'm at about 6K health and I figure... Fuck it. I'm just gonna hoof it to the north barracks and see what's up.

I head over there, and it's just a pile of rubble.

There's an M4a1 there with no ammo, and I can't risk that.

I turn around, and there's a dead body half in the rubble, with an Alice Pack.

I check the body and it's ridiculous (to me), but all appears to be legit gear.

Anyway, I'm thinking I need to head out to get some meat and get strong again...

As soon as I start crawling, without warning, there's a crunching noise, and

YOU ARE DEAD

It was almost like that stuff was there to grab and as soon as I moved, I was killed. Everyone else on the server wasn't in the lobby when I got there, so I don't think it was server-wide.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone's run into anything similar?
