Basic summation of his blog as of 6/26/12.

1. figure out where you are - check out maps on web.

2. get gear in this order: medical supplies, food, drink, weapons.

3. get in group and kill other players.

If you are a noob you should read it. It is not long and you could clarify tactic and information for you.

Basically you need to prioritize to get MORPHINE first of all. If you have 2-3 morphines, you may never need to visit those deathzone cities for some days.

Find a group, that's the best advice I've ever seen. The game gets 10x easier with a group of people. Especially when having 4 snipers pointed at elektro/cherno and other good loot points while the other person goes to loot :P
