The Unfortunate Meeting, a real DayZ story

So one day I was looting around Berezino for some medical supplies after helping a patient fix a broken leg. I just ran down the stairs of the Hospital and started running north towards Svetlojarsk, as I was running through the town I was swinging away with my axe at some Zombies so I didn't have a trail of them following me. So when I was running up to one of these 'zombies' and I put an axe to his back I hear a scream 'Dude what the hell! I'm Friendly!' It was a fellow survivor just standing around in the middle of the street... what was he doing? Getting a sun tan? Anyway I tell him I'm a medic and I took him as a zombie, the guy understood because he was a fresh spawn and was just looting around because he died shortly before he came here. Anyway we had a little laugh, I helped him gather some simple supplies and then we parted ways. I have learnt two things from this, 1. Check if all their intestines are still in place and 2. don't stand in the middle of the road getting a sun tan.

Nice story, has not happened to me before :)

And I hope it never does sir! I felt really bad after I noticed he wasn't a zombie aha!

'Accidentally'.

I never said I hit him accidentally, because I wanted to hit what I thought was a Zombie! I was just an idiot and didn't notice it was a player!
